I know that it is not even Halloween yet, but I'm trying to get my head together for Christmas. You know, the list, card list, schedule, craft projects, etc... Since our family has been through a lot in the last 6 months, I really want a more scaled down version and to focus on family more than ever. My 92 year old grandmother will probably not be here anymore by that time. She had a stroke this past weekend and is not doing good. I spent several hours with her last night and we just stared at each other. I'm at peace with all of the decisions that my dad, aunt, and uncles have had to make. My heart is broke though. So, family will be the focus of my Christmas this year. I think I will scale down my decorating too. Just a few things to think about.
