Happenings...

Well, we have been busy lately. Haley is running for 4th grade Class President. We had to make 27 treats for her to hand out after her speech today. She made a poster and some custom earrings. She is so funny! She even wrote her own speech and typed it up herself. Very proud of how far she has come. Good Luck today Haley Bug!! We are "Rolling" with you!!
Kade has one more baseball game!! Wooohooo!! I am so ready for Fall ball to be over. I love to be able to just go home in the afternoons and not have to leave again. Our schedule will ease up alot once it's over. He got to play catcher last night for the first time and he did really good and had a great time! I just love little boys!

Still trying to get comfortable with this new blog design. Haven't worked out all of the kinks. Especially the sidebar thingies. Anyway, I ran across a couple of quotes over the past week that I have printed and hung up to keep them fresh in my mind:
"The mere imparting of information is not education. Above all things, the effort must result in making a man think and do for himself."
"Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise. Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD'S purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:20-21
Wow, it is amazing at how certain scripture or quotes seem to find their way to you at the most appropriate times in life.
All of the kids are doing great right now. They are focused on their school work and just enjoying life. It is great to witness such progress.
