WOW!!

Can't believe it has been this long since I have posted anything. Not a whole lot going on I guess. I have put up what little Christmas decorations that I am going to - we are leaving on Christmas day for a week long trip and I did not want to have to face a whole house full of decorations to take down when we return. I have decided to hire one of Santa's elves to wrap gifts for me this year. I just don't enjoy wrapping presents any more. I'm not a scrooge at all, I just view wrapping as a huge chore and I refuse to do it this year. So, my friend's college age daughter will be hired to do the wrapping. She will earn some much needed money and I will save my sanity this year. Last year I was up at midnight on Christmas Eve wrapping gifts - won't happen again. I want this year to be more laid back and all about family and traditions. I have a few things that I want to do with the kids, but will have to wait until next weekend to start them. Hopefully this Thursday will be the end to a long 7 1/2 months of having extra people in our house. I have already watched The Polar Express 3 times and The Santa Clause 2 times as well as many other Christmas classics this year. I just love it!!
