Coupon luv!!

I remember being a young teenager and my mom making us cut out coupons every Sunday. I thought that was one of the most boring chores and really - were we saving anything!?! Probably not! But, as everything with life, you get smarter as you get older (of course you couldn't have told me that then, right?). My mom was super smart. I mean it's free money. I have come to embrace Sunday newspapers, coupons, and now online coupons - how great is that! Over the past month I have been able to save our family lots of "dough" by using coupons, especially when they can be doubled - Thanks Winn-Dixie!! And it has become a game I play - How much money can I save? - What can I get for basically free? I have come to embrace CVS, Rite-Aid, Winn-Dixie, and Dollar General. Then when all else fails I go to Wal-Mart, but still use coupons.

I follow a couple of websites to get really great ideas. One is Monique McLean at www.moniquemclean.typepad.com and www.couponclippinmama.com. They are both fantastic. You can also use www.coupons.com and print some from your computer. And don't forget to go to the individual stores websites for more great savings.
