Inspiration

Yesterday morning I read over these four verses and they spoke so loudly to me.

Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all you heart.

1 Timothy 1:16 (NIV)
16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life.

Isaiah 44:22 (NIV)
22 I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you."

During this season of life that has brought great struggle to my marriage I really needed these verses. When I went to www.lifeway.com these were the verses in an article that jumped out at me. It seems as if they were placed there by design - I know they were. God doesn't make mistakes - he has a purpose for everything. I began a new Bible Study last night by Stormie Omartian. It deals with how to pray through the difficult issues of marriage. I also have a prayer/study guide that accompanies the bible study book and it really helps you think through issues. I am so blessed to have 2 great children and an unconditionally loving husband. He has changed so much over the last 3 weeks that it is mindboggling. I have always wanted a Godly husband, but didn't realize what it would take to have him fall at God's feet. Has it been worth it? absolutely!! Will it be a hard row to hoe for a while? absolutely, but with God's help we'll be better than ever!

On a lighter note - I have not forgotten about taking pics of my living room and getting all of those questions answered by you smart decorators out there. Hopefully I can do that this week. I also am wanting to do some pics of the kiddos and the doggies. I haven't updated those in a while and with the new puppy, well that just gives you a good reason to do it. Gus is still a little stinker. And getting more gorgeous as time goes by. His eyes are mesmerizing and his coat is just heavenly. I can't believe at how much hair he has. He looks like a dust mop when he lays out in the floor. And Gidget is actually playing with him now - only took her a month to get used to him - such a hag!! We love her anyway. That's all for now see you tomorrow.
