Stickers and Sashes
I thought about the importance of getting a sticker yesterday. Not a flashy, shiny, glittery, or 3-D sticker, but a very simple, but all important sticker. The sticker that says "I voted." I was number 770 at the little polling place where I vote. Wow!! That's all I can say. I even had to wait in line - never happened before in my life. Neat to watch the whole democracy stuff in action. In other news, we are finished with the pageant. Amanda won 3rd place and Morgan didn't place. Morgan couldn't care less. She does it to just have fun. She's just as beautiful as any of the other girls, but lacks a lot of self-confidence in pageants. Just needs to smile more. I am proud of her and look forward to the pageant every year. We get to spend lots of girly time together. And with her reaching the age where I become stupid as dirt I treasure these little times we have. I am going to work on my December Daily tonight and attend church. Seems like I haven't been in church in a year. Only missed 3 weeks. And by the way, I have to "bestest" husband ever. Just wanted to throw that out there!
