I can't believe that it is already Thursday. We had a See You at the Pole rally yesterday and our youth minister was the speaker. He did an outstanding job. He was able to connect to the youth at their level. Whenever you can use an iPod as a tool to connect to youth it is good. They understand it. At least 100 middle school students attended - very good.

I have so many expectations for this weekend!! Have tickets to see "Fireproof" tomorrow night. Saturday I may have to work at our store and I have to take 4 12 year olds ice skating. Hoping to get some good pics to scrapbook (Lord only knows when that will be). Sunday - will attend church morning and evening - look forward to a "good" lunch. I always looked forward to Sundays for many reasons with Church being #1, but oh how good were granny's Sunday lunch. A table full of fantastic, fat producing, full of taste, drool producing food!! And most of your extended family (uncles, aunts, cousins) there. Good times I tell you. That is one thing I do want to bring back. Quit running around like a mad person and enjoying togetherness. So, I will have to do some thinking as to what my meal may be this Sunday and who I will invite. Having divorced parents (on both sides) makes things interesting. I think I'll invite my dad's side this weekend. My mom is out of town and I'll wait to invite hers when she gets back. I think I want to keep it small to begin with so maybe not all of them right now. You know, I need time to clean and get in the groove of this. It is a goal that I will work towards.

Still reading my "One Month to Live" challenge book that our church is completing. There are some HARD challenges in this book. Especially when it comes to relational challenges. It talks about forgiving and ultimately being the bigger person in disputes. That is soooooo hard for me - if I KNOW that I am right then I will dig my feet in and not give in. Maybe that is called having morals and values and not trying to pacify a person. I am sooooo not into pacifying people. Sometimes the truth hurts and lessons need to be learned. Anyway, I am enjoying the book.

Really loving this website right now for scrapbooking inspiration and especially the Pink Paislee Vintage Moon collection. www.kellygoree.blogspot.com
